INTERSTELLA 5555, THE DAFT PUNK HOUSE MUSICAL,

while browsing the HMV sale today for a cheap DVD fix, i stumbled across something that made the geek in me ejaculate on the spot. i'd like to confirm that was the imaginary, intangible being inside of me (metaphorically) ejaculating, i didn't actually cream myself...


that thing that i stumbled across was "interstella 5555" and just the front cover had me convinced that it was an essential purchase. the words DAFT PUNK, ANIME, HOUSE, and MUSICAL (yeah, i like musicals), all describing one film.

yes, it's ultimately a pointless, feature length musical for the album "discovery". actually, is it an avant garde analysis of celebrity culture? no, it's pointless. but i've still fallen in love. wikipedia it. i'm very late to this party, and possibly you're all already quite familiar with this masterpiece/classic/epic, but quite frankly my dear, i don't give a damn.
