there was a taste of les concerts a emporter in yesterday's vampire weekend post, time to get stuck in.


starting in paris 2 years ago, the take away shows are a series of docugigs held out and about in the city centre, the brain child of class french music site la blogotheque. filmed by photographer and promo director vincent moon, he leads bands through the winding parisian streets, any stumbles or unexpected pitfalls making the videos all the more entertaining. and the profile of the artists the series pulls is has been getting increasingly higher. arcade fire, jose gonzalez, beirut, sujfan stevens, cold war kids, guillemots, tapes n tapes and the shins have all taken part in their own "concert a emporter".
