lupe fiasco premiered the "paris, tokyo" video on sunday. the video carries on the visual style of "superstar", portraying the jet setting celebrity image he's using for "the cool". gone are the pop culture t-shirts and sneakers of the first album, replaced by sharp scarves and expensive watches. lupe has matured both in sound and in style. i'm glad he has chosen the track as his next single, definetely one of the strongest on the album.

in a recent interview lupe confirmed that rap supergroup child rebel soldier would be releasing an alum in late 2008, probably following the glow in the dark tour. the group consists of lupe himself (child) kanye west (rebel) and N.E.R.D.'s pharrel williams (soldier).
